Pastor Karena E.Mitchell is the youngest of eight siblings. She was born and raised in the city of Rochester New York where she currently resides and is the founder, Pastor and Overseerer of Purpose Driven Ministries Inc. She is the mother of one beautiful daughter Kamryn Amari Mitchell. Pastor Karena was brought up as a youth in the Pentecostal Assembly of the World.  She attended the Rochester School of the Arts and Monroe Comunity College where she studied as a Voice and Music Major.  As a young adult she began to respond to the voice of the Lord to the call of ministry of the gospel. She attended Elim Bible Institute in Lima New York and began her journey in religious studies. Born and raised in true holiness Pastor Karena has over 30 years of training, serving and working in the body of Christ. She continues to study and teach pure biblical doctrine, and has accomplished and received several awards and religious certifications along the way. Pastor Karena earned her Degree in Business Administration from the Rochester Business Instite of Technology in Rochester NewYork. Before Pastoring in 2010 she served as a committed, faithful and dedicated Associate Minister, Christian Education Teacher and Praise and Worship Leader.

THE SINGER:

Pastor Karena is an anointed and talented vocalist. She grew up in a family of extremely talented singers and musicians. She spent much of her childhood and teenage years studying the arts and her voice has touched audiences worldwide. Her musical journey began by singing in her church choir at an early age where her Aunt Bishop Eulah Mae Jackson-Nelson Pastored and she was a longtime member. Her love of music continued in her educational developement in the study of music and voice though out high school and college which afforded her opportunities to perform locally and  nationally in theatrical productions and voice recitals. Pastor Karena's exstensive travels as a Psalmist has afforded her great opportunity in sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. She has recorded with several National Gospel artist.

THE PREACHER:

Pastor Karena Mitchell is a fourth generational Preacher. She comes from a line of anointed ancestors who lived godly lives and taught the way of righteousness. Her Great Grandfather (Pastor  Samuel Wallace), Grandmother ( Pastor Alice Wallace Jackson), Aunts (Bishop Eulah Mae Jackson Nelson and Evangelist Emma F. Scott ) and her  Mother a Holy Ghost filled prayer legend who labored as a Pastor and Evangelist the incomparable Mary Lou Edith Johnson. These great pioneers of the gospel have imprinted  and left a powerful and dynamic family legacy of holiness to her that she ferverently continues to teach today.
