Isn't it frustrating waiting for someone who never shows up? And even more frustrating trying to talk to someone who isn't  listening. It's  as if that person  has plugged  their ears and nothing is getting through. Mothers, wives, daughters, sisters, Fathers, brothers most all of us have experienced this frustration. But the Bible tells us that God hears us when we talk to Him. He  is faithful and he shows up when we patiently wait for Him. He will not disappoint us.

Let's look at Psalms 112:7  

"They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord." 

Saints of God today I want to remind you that the righteous has no reason to fear bad news. In this day and age we all have instant access to so much technology,  we can be overwhelmed. From the COVID -19 pandemic, death, vaccinations  you name it! News is always right at our hands, and often it's not very good. Sometimes we are waiting for personal life altering kinds of news; medical news, job interview, test scores . Our fear is that the results will not be the news we are hoping to for. But today we have some great news!  Psalms 112:7 tells us that we do NOT have to fear bad news! If our hearts are righteous we can be assured that we are steadfast and secure. Regardless of any disturbing information that comes our way, we can be at peace because we are safe in God's care. 

Question

Whats fears are running through your mind?
Are you willing to trust God's word and give them to him today?

Gratitude is simply the awareness of the giver in our lives. Can you name one thing that has not been given to you in life?

Romans 12 :2

And this is life eternal, that they might know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ, who you have sent.  - John 17:3 

The Scriptures often  mentions meditation and meditating on the teachings and laws of God. It is extremely important that we as saints of God think deeply and reflect on what we believe and our actions. Without  this process of thinking  we can easily forget the importance of living righteously and following the lessons of the  word of God. 

Believe

"Jesus said unto him, if you can believe, all things are possible to him that believe."
 - Mark 9:23 

"I am come as light  into the world, that everyone who  believes in me would not remain  in darkness."  - John 12:46

If I walk into the thick of danger, you  will preserve my life from the anger of my enemies. You will extend your hand; your right hand will save me."  -Psalms 138: 7

Eternal life

Truly I tell you anyone who believes in me has everlasting life.  - John 6:47

Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me even if he dies, will live . Everyone who lives and believe in me will never die, do you believe this?
John 11: 25-26

Standfast in the faith 

For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it's God's gift-  not from works that no one can boast.-  Ephesians 2 :8

Now  faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen.  -Hebrews 11:1

We walk by faith not by sight.

2 Corinthians 5: 7

For you are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. - Galatians 3:26

God's faithfulness

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness, but is long-suffering to us. 2 Peter 3:9

God's faithfulness

Let us hold fast to the profession of our faith without wavering for he is faithful that promised. - Hebrews 10:23

Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keep his covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations.  Deuteronomy 7:9

Gods love

We love him, because he first loved us. - 1 John 4:19

Grow in grace

And besides this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, and virtual knowledge.
2 Peter 1:5

And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment.  Philippians 1:9

Help in troubles

Behold, God will not cast away a perfect man neither will he help the evil doer.

Job  8: 20:21

These things I have spoken to you that in me you might have peace.  In the world you will have tribulation:  but be of good cheer;  I have overcome the world.

Sunday
Father in the name of Jesus, fill  the  Purpose Driven Ministries family with the knowledge of your  will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so  that we will live a life worthy of you,  and please you in every way.  (Colossians 1:9-10)

Monday
Father in the name of Jesus, give Purpose Driven Ministries wisdom.  We thank you Lord because we know you to give  to us  more  than we deserve even looking  beyond our faults.  Father  help us to believe and not doubt you, and give Purpose Driven Ministries singleness of mind and stability in all that we do. Help each and everyone of us @ PDM to be decisive and to make good decisions.  Help us to be ready to meet you when you return for us. In Jesus Name  Amen.  James 1:5-8

Tuesday
Lord today I ask that you cause Purpose Driven Ministries to fear you, because you said this is the beginning of wisdom. So I ask that today you will cause PDM to know you and understand your perspective on any situation. Add  years to our lives and give us the reward of the wise. Proverbs 9:10-12

Wednesday

Father in the name of Jesus, do not let Purpose Driven Ministries look at the things man  may look at, but let us see this world through your eyes and respond to the world with your wisdom and your love. In Jesus Name Amen! 1 Samuel 16:7 

Thursday

Today I ask Lord that you will help Purpose Driven Ministries to trust in you with all our heart. Father please don't let  us rely on our own understanding, but cause  this church to acknowledge you in  all our ways and make our paths straight. In the name of Jesus we thank you! Proverbs 3:5-6

Friday

Today we ask for your counsel, Lord. Instruct  Purpose Driven Ministries even during the night.  Lord make known to us the path of life and fill us with joy in your presence. In Jesus mighty name we pray this pray from  the depth of our soul. Thank you Father and Amen.
 Psalms 16:7-11

Saturday

This is our prayer today Lord, that Purpose Driven Ministries love will expand more and more in the knowledge and goodness of who you are. Give us understanding and insight of you, so that we may be able to do what is best and so that we are made to be pure and blameless until the day of Christ return, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes only through Jesus Christ .
Philippians 1:9-11
